A two member team of Sh. Gurinderjit Singh and Sh. Sethi from CSR, ONGC visited Sahil Memorial School on Saturday 1st February at 10:30 am. Vasudev Kutumb members Mrs Komal Singh, Mrs Anjali Thapa and Sh. Raja Ram coordinated the event. Principal of the school Mrs Rawat along with class teachers of various classes attending the program were also present. Sh. Gurinderjit addressed the children and asked them about how they were benefitted by Vasudev Kutumb’s program. Children shared their learnings and told them how Values were changing their lives.
He also briefed them about ONGC and how petroleum is extracted. He also told them about how ONGC is funding their prizes and how Vasudev Kutumb is helping them to develop their character. Gurinderjit ji encouraged them to spend more time with Grandparents and build a bond with them. Mrs Komal B Singh briefed Sh. Sethi about various projects taken by Vasudev Kutumb. She also told him about Drawing competition held under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Prizes for the drawing competition were given by Sh. Sethi. The team was very happy to see the working of VK.

Vasudev Kutumb organized an event to distribute sweaters to the children in Government Primary School, Kaulagarh on 1st January 2020. A total of 131 sweaters and sweets were distributed on the occasion of our Patron Mr. Naresh Kumar Aggarwal’s (CMD Dynamic Drilling Services LTD ) birthday.
All the members of Vasudev Kutumb including the office bearers and the executive committee members were present.

Vasudev Kutumb has contributed to Swach Bharat Abhiyan campaign by organizing awareness programs in various government schools.
Our teachers visited the schools and had interactive sessions with the students to increase awareness for the need of cleanliness in their surroundings. Two dustbins we distributed in every school. The students were taught about recyclable and non recyclable waste and were explained the importance of segregation of waste. A drawing competition was organized for classes 4th to 7th where the students displayed their ideas of a SWACHH BHARAT. Various prizes were distributed for their efforts.
We believe that children can play a very important role in cleanliness drive and such campaigns. Our mission is to motivate these young bright minds of the country towards a clean self, surroundings and country.

Planning and Monitoring Division (PMD) of NCERT had taken up a research study titled curricular practices with respect to Global Citizenship Education in the secondary schools of India with the objective to analyze various curricular practices followed by these schools related to Global Citizenship Education. Vasudev Kutumb was chosen for this research in different schools. The research team intended to study the various activities carried out by our NGO that are being implemented in the schools of Dehradun.

Vasudev Kutumb had conducted a spiritual discourse 'Concept Of God By Swamini Tatvabodhananda Ji' at ONGC club. About 50 members had attended the talk which was followed by a satvik lunch. We also held a general body meeting at 11:00am to review various activities like Value Education, Camp Lakshya, Project Prakash, Project Navodaya, Spiritual Talks, Financial Support To Students & Schools. We also elected office bearers for the period 5 years from 2019 to 2024.
